Two of India’s biggest IT training companies Aptech and NIIT are increasing their business in Vietnam, aiming at the huge IT business and outshoring business the country will witness in future.

Aptech said it will set up 20 more training centres in Vietnam by 2008 with a local software firm, and is expecting over USD 30 million revenues from that country in the next three financial years.

The company has signed an MoU with Vietnam's FPT to open 20 new IT and multimedia training centres in that country by next year, an Aptech statement said.

"The system-wide revenues in Vietnam will grow to USD 12 million in 2009 from six million dollar in 2006 and the total revenues for three years will be over USD 30 million," the statement said.

Aptech and FPT had entered into an alliance in 1999 to impart IT training in Vietnam. The partnership has now scaled up the Vietnam operations to 31 centres, offering the Aptech Computer Certified Professional (ACCP) and ARENA Multimedia Specialist Programme (AMSP) curriculum.

NIIT also announced its plans to expand its services to Vietnam. It is looking at partnering with leading colleges and universities in that country to reach out to a larger number of students, it said.

NIIT has presence in Vietnam with a network of over 12 education centres in 13 provinces.

NIIT's flagship programme -- DNIIT, under is among the most popular IT training programmes in Vietnam and has over 8,000 students on its rolls, the statement said.
